Learning to Love Interactive Again
I’m a long time SWSW Interactive attendee, and have been attending the SXSW Music for an embarrassing amount of time, I get excited every year around this time.
The past few months have especially been interesting for me, because I’m now crossing a picket line every day that will dictate how writers and other creative individuals will stand to profit from entertainment delivered via the Internet. The fact that SXSW Interactive continues to coordinate joint panels with SXSW Film this year also makes me happy and proves to me that at least folks in Austin get the future of entertainment.
Some self-promotion here, but here are a couple links of two articles and podcasts I recorded for Webmonkey for SXSW Interactive ‘06.
First, one of the SXSW Interactive organizers Shawn O’Keefe speaks about how to make the most of the SXSW Interactive experience. The other features SXSW ‘08 panelist, consultant and entertainer Heather Gold speaking to the idea of Open Source Management.
I look forward to seeing you this March.
